  • How do I create or verify my profile?

    Download the Barkat app, sign up with your email or phone, and complete your profile. Our team manually reviews submitted identity, education, and employment documents where provided before your profile goes live. See how verification works at barkatapp.com/legal/verification.

  • Who can see my photos and contact details?

    You control visibility in the app. Photos and contact information stay private until you choose to share them with a match or involve family when you’re ready.

  • How do I report a profile or block someone?

    Open the profile in the app and use Report or Block from the menu. For urgent safety concerns, email us with screenshots and the profile name so we can act quickly.

  • What is Barkat Exclusive?

    Barkat Exclusive is our premium membership with priority support, verified introductions, and a family-first path to Nikah. Learn more on the Exclusive page or ask us by email.

  • How do I delete my account?

    You can delete your account from Settings in the app. If you’re unable to sign in, email us from your registered address and we’ll guide you through deletion.

  • The app isn’t working or I can’t log in

    Try updating to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. If the issue continues, email us your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when it failed.
